LIVIU IANASI, B.Arch (Gheorghe Asachi Polytechnic University), M.Arch. (Ion Mincu University)
Professor Ianasi is Vice Dean and Lecturer in the Urban and Regional Planning Department at the Ion Mincu University of Architecture and Planning in Bucharest, where he teaches courses on urban management, public administration, urban legislation, and participatory planning. As the former Director of the Urban Planning Division at the Ministry of Public Works from 1991 to 1997, he participated in developing new initiatives and planning legislation. Prior to joining the Ministry, Mr. Ianasi was the Deputy Director of the Planning Division in Oradea County. He has participated in numerous commissions and working groups focusing on human settlement and urban planning issues in the ECE region. He is the Secretary of the Romanian Urban Planners Professional Association and a member of the Union of Architects of Romania.
